What is your favorite phase when you get upset? Son of a *

What makes you feel overwhelmed? I get overwhelmed when I don't feel successful or when I feel like things are happening to me. This usually happens when I procrastinate and fall behind on things I should have finished.

What gives you strength? Feeling supported and listened to gives me strength. Honestly, after giving birth in May 2020 and living through the pandemic with a newborn I realized quickly whom I could rely on. My people give me strength!
13. Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? I get inspired through a lot of ways. It's usually by art and any creative types and people who challenge me to think differently. We are all a work in progress and need to make adjustments.
14. What do people mostly ask your help with? At work, people ask for my opinion and advice and it's usually to help to solve a problem they are dealing with. People tend to open up to me so I spend quite a bit of time counseling and try to save most of my energy for family and friends.

18. What is your favorite movie of all time? Tie between 16 Candles and Notting Hill
19. If you had to teach a class, what would you teach? An art class so we could have fun and get creative!
20. If you could master one musical instrument, what would it be? Piano.
21. What is your guilty pleasure? Binge watching shows, eating sour cream and onion ruffles (or popcorn) and drinking wine.
22. What fictional superpower would you like to have and why? Now that I've had a son I think I would want time manipulation or the ability to read thoughts so I know what he's frustrated about or what he's trying to tell me.
23. What's your superpower, or what's your spirit animal? During the pandemic, it's been a sloth but I think normally a rabbit - shy and timid at times but I can be clever and creative.

25. What do you do for fun/relaxation? I like to be outside and that can come in any form - sitting outside at a restaurant, at the beach, on a boat, going for a walk, etc.
26. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? I LOVE to travel and so does my wife. We have been to many great places however I still want to go to Seoul and Tokyo and for our adventure trip we want to go to the Galapagos Islands
27. What's your favorite holiday? Christmas, always.
28. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? I love traveling and the moment you arrive in a new city is one of the best feelings. I would love to fly (privately) to a big city and hit the ground running while I explore.
29. If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why? I was obsessed with Game of Thrones and hated the ending so let's bring back the Mother of Dragons
30. If you could change your age forever, what age would you choose and why? 33. My body felt great at 33 and I started to not care what others thought and for the first time felt like I was becoming me.
31. What did your parents teach you that you appreciate now? To respect every person you come in contact with and especially my place in the world.
32. If your name was on a product, what would that product be? Right now, any form of coffee. My baby doesn't sleep well at night!
33. If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do with your time? Absolutely travel around the world and rent out houses and experience what the world has to offer. I'd love to ride around on a motorcycle and eat my way through restaurants of all sorts of countries.
34. What would you say is your proudest accomplishment to date? Easily my family. We have worked hard and built something that makes me so happy, safe and peaceful.
35. What do you geek out about? I love home improvement projects but it's usually over a good show. I am currently obsessed with Handmaid's Tale but while I was going through IVF I was completely obsessed with Game of Thrones.
36. What or who has been your greatest influence in business, career and/or personal life, and why? I am drawn to natural leaders. People who can influence others and who have a progressive mindset. Nothing loses my interest more than people who are stuck in their ways and refuse to change.

37. What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally? When you can feel someone's passion. I love hearing people talk about things they are passionate about and it's extremely inspiring.
38. What’s the best advice you have received in business, career, and/or personal life that you wish to pass on to our readers? In business, it's to always look out for yourself because no one else will.
In my career it's to make sure that the people who work for you feel fulfilled and happy because they will make sure you look good.
And in my personal life it's you can only control the way you react to something.
39. What are some challenges, difficulties, and hardships you’ve overcome or are working to overcome? How can what you've learned help others? As I've matured and grown I have learned that if there is a problem it's almost always because of the way I reacted to a situation. I've worked to try to think before I react.
40. What advice would you give yourself 3 years ago? 3 years from now? I just went through a very difficult IVF process and it took three years to finally have our baby. I would have told myself to give myself a break and also to contribute fully to my HSA!!!
3 years from now it would probably be something about investing because my baby will be starting preschool and we'll need some money for his education.
41. What’s something you keep telling yourself you’ll do when you retire, or when you “have the time”? Travel. My answer to almost everything is travel because it gives you great perspective and purpose.
42. What’s something about yourself or your life that might surprise others to learn? Honestly, I'm not sure.

44. What’s a quote that inspires you and why? I don't have one.
45. What is one thing you really appreciate about your spouse? I appreciate her sense of humor. It was the first thing that drew me to her and it's my favorite thing about her. What I love now is how our son looks at her and how much the two of them laugh together.
46. What tv show(s) or movie(s) do you and your spouse enjoy watching together? This past year we have watched the Handmaid's Tale, Pen 15 is our favorite, Schitt's Creek.
47. What chores does your spouse help you with around the house you really appreciate? Jessie mows the lawn and does the laundry and that makes me very happy. She also quit her job to take care of our son full time when he was born so it goes without saying I appreciate that the most.
48. How often would you like to go out on a date night? Every night. Date night usually means an adventure or something fun and who wouldn't want to do that every night?
49. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? Free healthcare for all and a federal parental leave policy. After having so many treatments over the last three years and $60k+ out-of-pocket medical expenses this is an area of great frustration for me.
