  10. What is your favorite phrase when you get upset?  "Are you kidding me?"

  11. What makes you feel overwhelmed?  When things are disorganized.

  12. What gives you strength?  Standing on the promises of God.

  13. Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you?  My mother.  She had tremendous faith, patience and the ability to give thanks in ALL circumstances.

  14. What do people mostly ask your help with?  Making crafts, organizing and event planning.

16. You want to write a book on? Financial Literacy.

​17. If you had a warning label, what would yours say?  Warning: May appear mean until you get to know me.

18. What is your favorite movie of all time?  Not sure I have a favorite movie but if I had to choose something it would be "The King's Speech".

19. If you had to teach a class, what would you teach?  A class on Financial Literacy, especially for Pre-Teen and Teenagers.

20. If you could master one musical instrument, what would it be?  The piano.

21. What is your guilty pleasure? Red Velvet Cake!!!!!

22. What fictional superpower would you like to have and why?  Reading minds.  I am always interested in people's thoughts and how they arrive at the decisions they make.

23. What's your superpower, or what's your spirit animal?  Organization - The ability to organize and create systems so I am more productive and efficient.

24. What would your autobiography be called?  Naked and not Ashamed.

25. What do you do for fun/relaxation?  I sew.  I find it to be very therapeutic.

26. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Egypt

27. What's your favorite holiday?  I've learned to appreciate every day, so the holidays aren't as special as they used to be.

28. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? have uninterrupted time to myself in my sewing room.

29. If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why? Valerie Stokes from the TV show Single Ladies, just so I could raid her closet.  She always wore the most amazing outfits.

30. If you could change your age forever, what age would you choose and why?  I wouldn't change my age at all. Everything I have experienced in my life has brought me to where I am today.  I appreciate the place I'm in today as it is a part of my journey in this life.

31. What did your parents teach you that you appreciate now?  Take pride in everything you do!  At the end of the day, your integrity is more important than any accolade you will receive or any material possession you will gain.

32. If your name was on a product, what would that product be? It would be on a clothing label of bridal or formal wear.

33. If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do with your time? Travel and teach others the importance of financial literacy.

34. What would you say is your proudest accomplishment to date?  Leaving all my family in the Bahamas and moving to America at the age of 17.  Working to support myself while going to college and graduating debt-free!

35. What do you geek out about? Patterns and new sewing gadgets. 

36. What or who has been your greatest influence in business, career and/or personal life and why?  My close girlfriends.  Watching them start from the bottom and achieve amazing goals and dreams,  whether it's becoming a business owner, earning a Ph.D. or achieving huge goals they set for themselves.  These ladies are powerhouses in their profession yet they always give back and are positive and supportive. This encourages me to push harder as well.

37. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Creatively - having a clean organized workspace allows me to come up with many ideas for sewing projects. Finding the time to complete them is another issue.

38. What’s the best advice you have received in business, career and/or personal life that you wish to pass on to our readers? Always remember your why. Why are you doing what you are currently doing? Why is is it important to you?  Never doubt yourself and never be afraid to say no.

39. What are some challenges, difficulties, and hardships you’ve overcome or are working to overcome? How can what you've learned to help others?  Coping with the death of my mother. I've learned to be grateful in spite of. I've learned that just when you think you have no more fight in you left, you will find you are much stronger than you realize and you will get through it.  It's ok not to be ok. It's also important to express those feelings whether it's with good friends or a professional.

40. What advice would you give yourself 3 years ago? 3 years from now? 3 years ago I would tell myself to save as much as I can for as long as I can.  3 years from now no matter how tough life gets, continue to trust in the Lord and He will ALWAYS make a way for you.

41. What’s something you keep telling yourself you’ll do when you retire, or when you “have the time”? Travel

42. What’s something about yourself or your life that might surprise others to learn? I seriously considered becoming a special agent in the FBI.
43. What’s your theme song? Why?  The Climb by Miley Cyrus.  Life is not easy, obstacles will come but you have to keep pushing and working hard towards your goals.

44. What’s a quote that inspires you and why? Dedication, Determination, with Discipline brings Success.  Something I learned at a young age that I still apply today.  You can do anything you put your mind to as long as you are willing to do the work and willing to make sacrifices.
45. What is one thing you really appreciate about your spouse? His faith and love for the Lord!

46. What tv show(s) or movie(s) do you and your spouse enjoy watching together? How to Get Away with Murder and Manifest.

47. What chores does your spouse help you with around the house you really appreciate? My spouse often helps me with any chore that needs to be done. He also takes care of things without me having to ask him.  I feel truly blessed and really appreciative of that.

48. How often would you like to go out on a date night? We are pretty spontaneous when it comes to date nights. We both would rather stay home.

49. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? Free good quality healthcare.

50. Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? It's an honor to be featured on this blog.  This is a wonderful opportunity for women to promote things they are passionate about and showcase the many talents they have!
