10. What is your favorite phase when you get upset? I don't usually get upset very often as it causes stress. When I do get upset, I am usually one to just bottle up my feelings and emotions.
11. What makes you feel overwhelmed? Waiting till the last minute to do something. I am a planner and let to get things done in a timely manner.
12. What gives you strength? Friends and Family. Being around people who make me laugh and bring joy in my life is the greatest strength there is.
13. Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? Jillian (my soon to be wife). She is this amazing person who loves wholeheartedly. She also inspires me to be a better person by keeping connections with people.
14. What do people mostly ask your help with? Tech-related stuff. There is a running joke with some family and friends that I am the go-to "IT person". Whenever someone is having trouble with their phone, laptop, etc. they will reach out to me for help/advice.

16. You want to write a book on? I'd write a book on exercise and health.

19. If you had to teach a class, what would you teach? A boating course. I love being out on the water and would love to train others.

22. What fictional superpower would you like to have and why? I'd like to time travel so I could go back in time to learn but also to get a sense of the way things used to be and how much we have evolved and changed.

25. What do you do for fun/relaxation? Go out on the boat or go to the beach. I love being outside!

28. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? Spend all day on a boat out in the ocean.
29. If you could bring one fictional character to life, whom would it be and why? Olivia Pope from Scandal. Her character in the show is based on a DC fixer and while some of the show was based on a real DC fixer, Olivia Pope was a badass who got stuff done. I just think it would be so cool to have someone out there like her, helping us be a better country.
30. If you could change your age forever, what age would you choose and why? 30. When you're 30 I feel like people take you seriously but you are also still so young. Also when you re 30, you're old enough to vote, drink, rent a car, etc. You're in your prime years to start a family but still sometimes can act like a crazy college kid.
31. What did your parents teach you that you appreciate now? They taught me financial responsibility. How to save your money so you can enjoy the things in life that mean the most.

33. If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do with your time? Cruise on a Yacht around the world.
34. What would you say is your proudest accomplishment to date? Buying our first home.
35. What do you geek out about? Hats, I love a good hat.
36. What or who has been your greatest influence in business, career and/or personal life and why? Brene Brown - If you have read any of her books or watch any of her TED talks I encourage you to. She is a shame researcher and talks about the power of vulnerability. Her entire focus is about showing up and being your true self.

37. What turns you on creatively, spiritually, or emotionally? Planning and executing. I love planning trips, events, etc. And once I get in the groove, checking things off my to-do list is so satisfying.
38. What’s the best advice you have received in business, career, and/or personal life that you wish to pass on to our readers? Authenticity - being authentic with others while showing empathy.
39. What are some challenges, difficulties, and hardships you’ve overcome or are working to overcome? How can what you've learned help others? The biggest challenge has been being in a same-sex relationship. It's amazing because people love you no matter what, but there is this constant fear that someone won't accept you so sometimes (most of the time) it's easy to hide. However, living in a world of vulnerability and authenticity makes it all better. People appreciate it when someone is being their true self.
40. What advice would you give yourself 3 years ago? 3 years from now? 3 years ago - you don't have to know everything. There will be amazing people who support you and help you learn/grow along the way.
3 years from now - Keep working hard and being true to yourself.
41. What’s something you keep telling yourself you’ll do when you retire, or when you “have the time”? Learn to speak Spanish.
42. What’s something about yourself or your life that might surprise others to learn? I lived in four states before the age of 6.
43. What’s your theme song? Why? Angela by The Lumineers - mostly because it's an entire song with my name in it!
44. What’s a quote that inspires you and why? “At the end of the day, at the end of the week, at the end of my life, I want to say that I contributed more than I criticized.”

45. What is one thing you really appreciate about your spouse? She balances me out and always wants to take care of me.
46. What tv show(s) or movie(s) do you and your spouse enjoy watching together? Greys Anatomy, Scandal, Shawshank Redemption, This is us...
47. What chores does your spouse help you with around the house you really appreciate? She does most of the cooking and laundry!
48. How often would you like to go out on a date night? Once or twice a week. We both really enjoy just being at home.
49. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? This is a tough one and I am not entirely sure. This isn't really a law but it drives me crazy that we are ONE country but each state can have different laws. For example, why are our Driver's License different?!? Why can't they all be exactly the same with a line of which state you reside in? It would be so much easier when you travel and your ID gets checked.
50. Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? Show empathy for others. With a little empathy, we can all be better humans.
