What makes you feel overwhelmed? When I have too many people coming at me for things. I am a people pleaser when I can't get to everyone or make everyone happy I get stressed.

What gives you strength? My faith and family.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? There is not one person in particular. More generally, just strong women in my everyday circles. An inspirational post here, a good example there, someone just gettin' it done... I look for inspiration in all those around me.

What do people mostly ask your help with? People tend to vent to me. I don't usually offer any groundbreaking advice or solve any problems but, I listen and don't pass judgment.

16. You want to write a book on? I don't want to write a book on anything! But, if I did write a book it would be about saying yes to Organ Donation. It would detail my family's personal tragedy and speak of the light this decision can bring during one of life's darkest moments.
​17. If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Objects may be louder then they appear.
18. What is your favorite movie of all time? Lion King
19. If you had to teach a class, what would you teach? A class in compassion - Everyone needs to practice more of it...
20. If you could master one musical instrument, what would it be? Guitar.
21. What is your guilty pleasure? After telling my children they cannot have any chocolate or a treat, as soon as they leave the kitchen I dive right into the chocolate stash... no hesitation.
22. What fictional superpower would you like to have and why? I would want to be able to tele-transport myself anywhere. I would love to visit friends, family and places all around the world in the drop of a hat.
23. What's your superpower, or what's your spirit animal? A cat.
24. What would your autobiography be called? Music with the Boys.
25. What do you do for fun/relaxation? Listen to music. Dance. Do something creative/crafty. Get outside and be active. Sip on a beverage. Not necessarily in that order!
26. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Oh man... there are so many amazing places... it's impossible to answer.
27. What's your favorite holiday? Halloween!
28. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? A perfect day for me would look something like... work out, hit the spa for massage and pampering, lunch with friends then end it with dinner ordered in and time with all my boys.

29. If you could bring one fictional character to life, who would it be and why? Cheer Bear - Cheer Bear is generally the first Care Bear (remember those) to appear when someone is not feeling well or whenever things go wrong for any reason. Always the optimist, Cheer Bear approaches each day with a smile and a good word. Can you imagine Cheer Bear showing up, puffing out that little rainbow belly and making everyone feel awesome!
30. If you could change your age forever, what age would you choose and why? Every age has brought amazing things. I'm so comfortable aging and growing old there's no need to go back.
31. What did your parents teach you that you appreciate now? My parents had me involved in team sports right from the get-go. Their support in my athletic endeavors and all the lessons that those sports have brought to my life has been invaluable. Leadership, people skills, problem-solving, commitment, self-discipline, etc... all introduced by my parents and honed in team sport.
32. If your name was on a product, what would that product be? Baked goods.
33. If money wasn’t an issue, what would you do with your time? I would focus more on future goals of opening up a coffee shop/cafe. If that Cafe didn't pose a financial risk for us to open - that would be amazing.
34. What would you say is your proudest accomplishment to date? Enabling my three boys to thrive in their own unique ways.
35. What do you geek out about? Marketing, commercials and design. I actually enjoy watching commercials! When my husband sees me watching them instead of forwarding through on the DVR he just shakes his head!
36. What or who has been your greatest influence in business, career and/or personal life and why? My husband is my go-to rock and supporter. We balance each other out and having each others perspective on things paints a more complete picture for me to tackle a situation.


37. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? I am an extrovert. I love working with people. Brainstorming and bouncing ideas off one and another can gets me thinking on a different level. Whether that was in the workplace, parenting or volunteering.
38. What’s the best advice you have received in business, career and/or personal life that you wish to pass on to our readers? Be true to yourself. Even if that means taking the more difficult/less lucrative path.
39. What are some challenges, difficulties, and hardships you’ve overcome or are working to overcome? How can what you've learned help others? I have had a considerable amount of loss in my life. People very close to my heart that have left far earlier then I was ready for them to go. I pushed the hurt and pain down for years. Finally dealing with that loss, grieving and having the ability to talk about it has allowed me to be more compassionate when seeing others. You never know what someone else is struggling with. Be kind.
40. What advice would you give yourself 3 years ago? 3 years from now? Stop thinking about it, you will have a third.
41. What’s something you keep telling yourself you’ll do when you retire, or when you “have the time”? Create a business plan for our Coffee Shop/Cafe concept.
42. What’s something about yourself or your life that might surprise others to learn? I have back-packed around Europe, lived in Finland and travelled around the world with my now husband.
43. What’s your theme song? Why? PINK - "get the party started"
44. What’s a quote that inspires you and why? "Do not live to make a living but rather live to make a life worth living." This used to hang in my house growing up. A one income household, we didn't focus on material things and my childhood was not over run by gifts and toys. While money can definitely make life easier, it cannot make you happy.
45. What is one thing you really appreciate about your spouse? His integrity - which he upholds in every aspect of his life. There is never any doubt that his actions are backed with sound thought, measured risk and good moral values.
46. What tv show(s) or movie(s) do you and your spouse enjoy watching together? Our DVR is usually full of late night talk shows that we buzz through in search of new music and bands. We have trouble finding time to complete a TV series but change up our preferences from Better Call Sal, to Stranger Things to currently Jack Ryan.
47. What chores does your spouse help you with around the house you really appreciate? Oh my goodness he does so much - Laundry is probably the biggest one!
48. How often would you like to go out on a date night? Once a month.
49. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? If I was the ruler of my own perfect country I would try and implement some sort of mandatory max work day ('cause that is realistic?!). You CANNOT break the 6 hr daily quota. If something NEEDS to get done, you can put in the time but then you have to take the time off within the same week. Everyone needs to focus more on themselves, their health, personal goals and their families.
